Can I just talk about how much I’ve been MOVED by this scene in Merlin S05E03?
Arthur had set Uther’s spirit free into this world from the other world accidentally, therefore he needed to send it back. When he was tracing his father and walking around the corner carefully, he pulled the horn out and hold it like he was holding his sword subconsciously, as you can see it from the gifs, that was the moment that shocked me. For Arthur, he was born to be a knight, a warrior, he’d been training for as long as he could remember, and he’d use his weapon - no matter it was a sword or not - in a knight-holding-sword way when he was facing some dangers, being a knight was just something that had been buried deep down in his veins; for Bradley, I’d speak highly of him for his performance in here, he’d shown us a typical Arthur in just one detail. I’ll say, only those ones who had profound understanding of their characters and strong sense of responsibility could do such a great job. Well done, Bradley.
